We hope you’ll join us for the 15th Annual Putting Hunger on the Run 5K on Sunday, April 8!

Every person who registers ultimately provides 12 meals to an individual or family in need in Buffalo.

The race begins with the National Anthem next to the Connecticut Street Armory. Runners and walkers are treated to splendid views of historic homes on this West Side course often hidden by the foliage during the summer and fall.

The course is level for the first two miles with a slight incline as you approach Symphony Circle from the west. The race finishes near D’Youville College, where the post-race party begins.

And what a post-race party it is! You’ll enjoy chili with cornbread, yogurt parfait, music, awards, and the 4th Annual Friends of the Night People Race to Donate T-Shirt Contest (most, oldest, farthest away).

Your support benefits community-feeding programs offered by Friends of the Night People to help serve and distribute 137,000 meals in 2018. Every person who registers ultimately provides 12 meals to an individual or family in need in Buffalo.
