Please join us on Saturday November 3, 2018 for the 4th Annual Mighty Fitz 5K in Lewiston, New York to commemorate the 43rd anniversary of the sinking of the Great Lakes freighter.

It was 43 years ago on November 10, 1975 when the Edmund Fitzgerald disappeared in the waters of Lake Superior during a severe storm, taking 29 lives with it. After 40+ years, the story of the ship continues to intrigue, with some saying its legend is second only to the Titanic.

The Mighty Fitz 5K is brought to you by iRun WNY and is being sponsored by Great Lakes Brewery! There will be a post race party and awards ceremony at the brand new Brickyard Brewing Company immediately following the race featuring live music by Zak Ward.

All runners are invited to join local artist Thomas Asklar later in the evening at Water Street Landing for a very interesting and informative presentation on the history of the Edmund Fitzgerald to benefit the Lewiston Council on the Arts!

START/FINISH
The race will start and finish in front of the Brickyard Pub & Restaurant and the all new Brickyard Brewing Company using USATF Certified Course #NY11071JG. There will be one water station located at the top of Artpark Hill.
